Who I am

This website belongs to Korpalo Immigration Inc., a Canadian immigration consulting practice in Toronto, Ontario, operated by Olga Korpalo, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB), licence R1053567.

What I collect and why

Through the forms on this site I collect the information you type into them: your name, email, phone number, language preference and the description of your situation. I use it for one purpose, to answer you and, if we work together, to prepare your case. Nothing on this site asks for passport numbers, financial account details or medical information, and you should not send those through a web form.

The site also collects standard technical data such as IP address and browser type through hosting logs and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics. This data is used to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful.

How your information is stored

Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and forwarded to my email. Case documents are handled outside this website, through secure channels agreed with you. As a licensed RCIC I am bound by the College’s code of professional conduct, which includes confidentiality of client information.

Sharing

I do not sell your information and I do not share it for advertising. Information is disclosed to IRCC, provincial programs or the Immigration and Refugee Board only when it is part of a case I represent you in, and only with your authorization. Service providers who host this website may process data on my behalf under their own agreements.

Your rights under PIPEDA

Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) gives you the right to know what personal information I hold about you, to ask for a copy, to correct it, and to withdraw consent. Write to me and I will respond within a reasonable period. Some information must be retained where professional or legal obligations require it.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies required for it to function and, where enabled, for anonymous statistics. It does not run advertising trackers.
